Sustainablility

Stanmore Farm fully supports the Industry’s thrust toward sustainability and the goal of 100% national accreditation by 2012.  The nursery itself was recently granted accreditation and this covers the farm’s rootstock and scion motherblocks in addition to the grafted vine fields.  For the nursery operation, sustainable practices include such elements as crop rotation, cover crops, mulches and monitoring.
